Door Stuck Closed / Won't Unlock

This customer in Ainsworth contacted us as her front door was stuck closed.😬

We got the door open in no time before diagnosing the issue, which was a faulty latch on the centre gearbox of the mechanism. The latch wasn’t retracting fully when using the handle, causing it to catch on the strikeplate and therefore preventing the door from opening.🤔

We got the faulty part swapped out for a new genuine replacement, before testing the operation & realigning the door to ensure it doesn’t happen again any time soon!
