Gearbox, Handle, & Lock Replacement

Full overhaul for this customers door in Doffcocker!

The Gearbox was replaced due an occasional fault where the handle wouldn't retract the latch, causing the door to not open. Fixed in no time.

The customer also mentioned how she disliked the look of the handles, and how the door locked automatically behind her, so we discussed her options & she opted to have the handles replaced to solve both of those issues, leaving the door exactly how the customer wants it to be - Two Birds With One Stone!

Finally, we noticed that there was a large amount of play in the pins of the locking cylinder itself, & even after giving it a clean and some lubrication it still wasn't up to scratch, so we informed the customer who correctly decided to have the lock changed also. Upgrading their base lock for an Anti-Snap, Anti-Pick, Anti-Drill Cylinder - Fixing the fault AND upgrading their home security in one fell swoop! Win/Win.
