K's Lounge Oldham Failed Mechanism

We recently attended to a set of patio doors over at K’s Lounge Oldham to open the slave/passive door, as it was stuck closed due to the gearbox failing in the locked position.

They needed the door open ASAP for an event they were hosting the same day, however it also needed to be secured so that the property wasn’t vulnerable out of business hours.

Unfortunately the part they needed wasn’t available to acquire on that day, despite the vast amount of brands & models we stock here at OpenDoor Locksmiths. It is very rare for us to not have the correct part in stock for a same day replacement, however this didn’t deter us from finding a good solution!

We got the door open for them on the day so that they could have the door open during their event, & also came up with a solution to secure it temporarily, allowing the staff to lock up at night without the owners worrying about anything untoward happening whilst they aren’t present.

We will never do half a job, or leave a customer with a temporary measure for longer than necessary. We ordered the correct part for the door & replaced it as soon as physically possible, meaning the door is now back to perfect working order!😁
