Obsolete Mechanism Replaced

This customer rang us as their patio door was extremely difficult to open & close, with the handle feeling extremely stiff.

We wanted to replace the faulty gearbox, however the mechanism they had on the door is obsolete as the manufacturer ceased production of them.

Not an issue for OpenDoor Locksmiths! We managed to ensure the door locked & unlocked for the time being, whilst we did some investigation and research to find a suitable replacement without too much further modification to the door.

We found a perfect option and headed over as soon as was convenient for the customer, where we replaced the full mechanism and strikes to ensure proper operation.
