UPVC Door Re-Alignment & Gearbox Change

This customer contacted us as their door was catching on the frame and had become extremely difficult to lock or unlock, the handle was so stiff they couldn’t even open or close it anymore.🥲

We attended and discovered that the gearbox had failed due to the ongoing stress from the door being out of alignment, so we got it replaced with a like-for-like genuine replacement before testing the operation & fitting it back into the door.😁

We then realigned the door to ensure it wouldn’t catch on the frame or cause the bolts to bind on the strike plate, preventing the gearbox from breaking again!

A quick door service and a test of the door just to make sure it was all working correctly, and we left with another fixed door and another happy customer!✅
