Full House Lock Replacements & Window Jobs

We attended an emergency lockout for this customer in Edenfield a couple of weeks ago, after their front door lock refused to open on Valentine’s Day.

Whilst we were dealing with the issue at hand, the customer mentioned how they had recently moved in & needed most of the locks on the house changing for security purposes & also because they felt quite old and clunky.

The customer booked in for us to give the entire property a huge security upgrade & refresh. Amongst the jobs were: 2x Rim Cylinders, 2x 5 Lever British Standard Mortice Locks, a 3 Lever Mortice Lock, 2x new window handles, a new window mechanism, & a postbox lock to fix.

We got the old Mortice Locks replaced with British Standard Insurance Approved 5 Lever Locks, We supplied two different brands of Rim Cylinders to make it easier for the customer to differentiate between the keys, saving them fumbling around with keys to find the correct one.

The 3 Lever Lock was fitted on an internal door before we got the broken window handles swapped out for new ones.

The window mechanism they needed was unfortunately obsolete, however luckily we had one in stock as they’re quite common round here, so we stocked up when we had the chance. Just the postbox left to fix and we were on our way to the next job!
