Door Hard to Lock & Unlock

This Customer in Smithills was having difficulty locking / unlocking their door. Luckily, this customer got in touch at the right time as their gearbox was only a handful of uses away from failing completely - Which would’ve left their door unlocked, or possibly even stuck closed.🫣

We arrived & found the door to be out of alignment, which had caused stress through the gearbox linkage, eventually causing it to crack.

We got the door realigned & replaced the broken gearbox with a genuine replacement part - No fake copies here!✅

Along with the gearbox replacement & realignment to fix the main issue, we also advised a new set of handles and a new lock, as they had definitely gotten their use out of the previous ones! The handles were wobbling everywhere, nearly snapping when used, & the lock had gunked up from all the years of dust and pocket lint without lubrication.

Our customer wisely opted to have all the main parts of the door replaced, leaving them with a nice new set of handles & a new Anti-Snap, Anti-Pick, Anti-Drill Lock for extra security, along with the new gearbox & door realignment, ensuring this door will be perfect for the foreseeable future!
