Door Won't Unlock

This customer couldn’t open their front door, so contacted us to have a look.

We popped the door open and found the gearbox & lock to be faulty. The gearbox had started to fail & become stiff, which was forcing the lock to carry most of the weight; eventually causing it to fail.

We replaced the broken lock & ordered a brand new replacement for the gearbox, whilst advising the customer to use another door to prevent any further damage. We then attended as soon as the customer was available to fit the new one - Leaving their door as good as new!
