Interior Door Latches

This customer in Whitefield had recently been trapped in their kitchen due to a faulty latch on the kitchen door. It did function for a while afterwards, however eventually the latch failed completely, meaning they had to forcefully smash through the door to escape.🥲

They gave it a go repairing it themselves, but contacted us as the latch was stuck in the door rather snugly. We attended and got the latch removed before boring the hole out to the correct size, which more than likely was the cause for the latch being faulty originally. We then replaced it with a new latch & strike plate leaving the door as good as new!✅

We also replaced a bathroom door latch which had a similar fault, meaning our customers should be free from door troubles for a good while!😁
