Windows Not Locking / Causing Draught

This customer in Tonge contacted us as they were having some window problems.

We discovered that the spindle follower in one of the windows had shattered to pieces, meaning the window couldn’t latch closed, leaving a large gap between the sash and frame which was letting a big draught in.

We replaced the mechanism leaving it working perfectly once again.

The handle was also definitely past its expiry date, so we replaced the handles on both windows in that room to ensure a clean look & preventing future call-outs for when it eventually goes the same way!
